CSA: Community Supported Art - Call for Entries

The Springboard for the Arts is a local non-profit that created the CSA program 3 years ago in the twin cities area. It was inspired by the traditional meaning of a CSA; (community supported agriculture) but with art instead of produce. Artists submit their artwork to the program and upon acceptance, they are granted a stipend of $1,000 to created 50 pieces of art for "CSA boxes". Then the general public can purchase a box for $300 which includes 3 pieces of original artwork. All artwork must be smaller then 18" X 12" X 12" and can be any visual art, music, performing art or writing. The submission deadline is fast approaching, being this Friday March 18th, but this is the online submission date, so there is still time! More guidelines for the CSA program can be found here.
